Plot:

Throughout the 21st century, Earth was governed by the Buy n Large megacorporation (BnL), causing mass consumerism and covering the planet in trash by 2805. In an attempt to resolve the situation, BnL evacuated Earth’s population on fully automated luxury starliners for five years while an army of trash compactor robots called “WALL-E” were left behind to clean up the planet. The plan largely failed, however, forcing humanity to remain in space indefinitely. Seven hundred years later, in 2805, only one WALL-E remains active, having survived by salvaging parts for himself from other defunct WALL-E units. This unit has developed sentience; as shown by his quirky habits of collecting knickknacks from the mountains of trash, domesticating a lone cockroach, singing to the show tunes of Hello Dolly! and doing so has taught him about emotions such as love, but also learns about how lonely he is.

One day, WALL-E finds a seedling plant growing among the trash and returns it to his home inside an old transport truck. Later, a spaceship lands and deploys an advanced probe robot named EVE. WALL-E is instantly smitten in love with EVE as she carries out her directive of searching for signs of plant life. EVE is initially aloof and hostile, but eventually warms up to WALL-E and takes a liking to him. During a dust storm, WALL-E takes EVE to his home and shows her the plant, which causes her automated systems to store the plant inside her body, activate a homing beacon for her ship, and shut down. WALL-E goes to great lengths to take care of her, even going on a date with the inactive robot, in the hopes that she will reactivate. When EVE’s ship returns to collect her, WALL-E desperately clings to the hull of the ship as it returns to the Axiom, the flagship of the BnL starliner fleet.

Upon docking, WALL-E follows EVE as she is taken to the bridge of the ship. As he progresses through the Axiom, it becomes apparent that after centuries of living in microgravity and relying on the ship’s automated systems, the human passengers have suffered severe bone loss and become obese. The captain himself does little, leaving control of the ship to its robotic autopilot, Auto. When EVE is brought to the bridge, the captain learns that by placing her plant sample inside the ship’s holo-detector as a sign of Earth being habitable again, the Axiom will enter hyperspace and return to Earth to allow its passengers to repopulate the planet. However, when EVE is opened, the plant is missing. She is considered defective and is taken to the robot repair ward along with WALL-E, though the captain’s curiosity about Earth is piqued, and he begins researching more about his home planet.

At the repair ward, WALL-E mistakes EVE’s inspection for torture and breaks free attempting to free her, but his clumsiness only causes chaos and he accidentally releasing a horde of malfunctioning robots to roam the ship, resulting in the ship’s security designating him and EVE as “rogue robots.” Angry with WALL-E’s disruptive influence and believing he stole and lost the plant, EVE attempts to send him back to Earth in an escape pod. However, they witness Auto’s assistant GO-4 deposit the missing plant into the pod programmed to self-destruct, launching it with WALL-E inside, though WALL-E manages to escape with the plant unharmed. Overjoyed, EVE gratefully gives him a “kiss” in the form of an electric spark, and the two robots celebrate on a spacewalk around the Axiom before returning the plant to the captain.

The captain reviews EVE’s visual records of the devastated Earth, and vows to return there to restore the planet. EVE also views her security records of WALL-E selflessly protecting her from the harsh environment of Earth after she shut down; she is so moved by WALL-E’s love that she realizes she loves him back.

Before the Captain could activate the Holo-detector, Auto reveals that he was given a final directive to keep humanity in space, as Earth had been deemed uninhabitable at the time he was given the directive. When the Captain forces his orders to return to Earth, Auto stages a mutiny by electrocuting WALL-E, sending him down a garbage chute with EVE and the plant, and locking the captain in his quarters.

With WALL-E dying, EVE realizes that the only parts available that can save him are on Earth, so WALL-E and EVE escape from the garbage depot to activate the ship’s hyperjump back to Earth by placing the plant in the holo-detector with help from the malfunctioning robots. The captain breaks free from his quarters and opens the holo-detector while fighting Auto, who closes it on WALL-E and crushes him to death as he tries to hold it open before being deactivated by the captain.

EVE places the plant in the holo-detector, releasing WALL-E and sending the ship back to Earth, and brings WALL-E back to his home to repair him. EVE successfully reactivates him but unfortunately, WALL-E’s memory and personality appear to have been erased as he reverts to his original trash-compacting duties. Heartbroken, EVE takes his hand and gives him a farewell “kiss” which causes another spark that unexpectingly restores him to his usual self, happily reuniting the two robots. WALL-E and EVE rejoin the humans and robots as they begin working together to restore Earth, taking care to plant the seedling that brought them back home.

During the credits a series of pictures show the first stages of restoring Earth. These are set out so that the first ones are in the style of ancient cave drawings to modern-day art. The series shows the City being rebuilt to a whole new world full of lush green and life. The final picture shows EVE and WALL-E standing next to a tree, that is then shown to be the boot that started the re-colonization on Earth.

Plot :

The film begins with Samson, a lion, telling his son Ryan stories of his adventures in the wild. Ryan attempts to imitate his father’s roar, but all he can manage is a squeaky growl. Ryan is teased by the zoo guests and he sulks away in his tree. During the night, when the zoo closes, all the animals are free to roam. Samson heads off to play a game of curling with the other animals, while Ryan is taunted to come with his friends to stalk the gazelles like his father. On the other hand, Samson observes as his best friend Benny, a squirrel, tries to get Bridgette the giraffe to go out with him, but she is clearly not interested. Meanwhile, Ryan’s friends sneak into the gazelle exhibit. Ryan tries to stop them with a roar, but growls instead. However, it wakes the gazelles into a stampede, which ruins his father’s game. He gets angry at Ryan, berating him for spending all day sulking. Ryan retaliates by saying he sulks because he would feel much better being a loser if his father wasn’t ‘Samson the Wild’.

That night, Ryan accidentally gets shipped into the ‘Green Boxes’, which Legend tells will take him to the wild. With the help of a pigeon, Samson and Benny go after him, sneaking into a garbage disposal truck. However, Nigel (an unlucky koala), Larry (a dim-witted anaconda) and Bridgette tag along to help as well, accidentally throwing Benny off the truck. After nearly being crushed in the garbage disposal, the group encounters a pack of rabid stray dogs. To their surprise, Samson makes them hide in the sewer rather than fight. There, they take directions from two street wise alligators who lead them to the docks.

The next morning, the four friends steal a boat (quickly figuring out they can’t actually drive it) to chase after Ryan’s ship. They reunite with Benny, who has enlisted some Canadian geese to help steer the crew in the right direction. After several days, Nigel goes mad with the heat and thirst, and, under the impression they have hit an iceberg, jumps overboard. Luckily, the boat has run aground in Africa. The group quickly discovers that all the animals in the area are being evacuated, as a nearby volcano has begun billowing ominous black smoke. They witness Ryan escaping, but he runs into the jungle before they can stop him. Samson attempts to use his instincts to find him, but it is quickly revealed that he has never been in the wild before. The rest of the group head back to the ship, but Samson decides to keep trying to find Ryan.

While walking Samson sees plants and rocks turning into different colors; he thinks they are his senses. Nigel is captured by a group of wildebeests who dwell in the volcano, and their leader Kazar pronounces him King, based on an ‘omen’ he received when he was young. About to be devoured by lions, a toy koala fell from the sky (unknown to him it was actually from a plane) and scared the lions away, saving his life. Kazar wants to change the food chain; he no longer wants his kind to be at the bottom, but would rather see “prey become predators” and vice versa. For this, he needs to sacrifice a lion. Bridget and Larry are also captured and held prisoner.

Ryan is left sheltering in a branch of an old tree, but he is attacked by a gang of vultures acting under orders from Kazar. The branch breaks and traps his paw. Ryan attempts a roar but again can only manage a squeak. Samson hears Ryan’s cries and runs to save him, scaring off the birds. The two reunite, but are interrupted by a pack of wildebeests. Ryan is shocked when Samson tells him to run. The two retreat to a tree where Samson reveals the truth – he was born in the circus and, like Ryan, couldn’t roar. His father was ashamed, telling him a wild lion could roar, before allowing his son to be sent to the zoo, where Samson lied to avoid the shame. Meanwhile, the wildebeest discover them and, in the scuffle, send the tree over the cliff, with Samson still hanging on. Ryan is taken back to the volcano to be sacrificed.

Samson is found later by Benny, and together they follow Samson’s ‘instinct’ to the volcano in which the wildebeests are. This instinct turns out to be a group of chameleons who can camouflage themselves to look like they are leading his way – they help Samson because they want to see the wildebeests overthrown. Nigel tries his best to distract Kazar and the others from harming his friends (who are going to be cooked in a fire for dinner), but eventually Samson appears. He ends up fighting Kazar in order to protect the others and Ryan. As they fight, Kazar orders the other wildebeests to help him. His second in command, Blag, tells him that the wildebeests are tired of pretending to be something that they’re not, and refuse to help. In response, Kazar continues fighting by himself – but both Samson and Ryan finally find their real roars. Samson then unleashes a roar so powerful, knocking out Kazar and triggering the eruption of the volcano.

The animals hurry outside, but Kazar remains, ecstatic about finally being ‘top of the food chain’. However, he is crushed by rocks as the volcano explodes. Luckily, Samson, Ryan, Bridget, Nigel, Larry, Benny, Cloak, Cameo, and the wildebeest all escape, leaving the wild just seconds before the volcano triggers an eruption that destroys it completely. Ryan tells Samson that he is glad that he saw the wild before it disappeared and he and his father reconcile. Both are happy that they found their roars. Meanwhile Benny tells Bridget that she is more than just a ‘goddess’ that she’s also strong and independent, much to Bridget’s delight, and she kisses him, thus starting their relationship. Samson and Blag begin a dance off, and all the animals join in.

It ends with a fade out but, before total blackness, the music pauses and one of the wildebeest peers through the hole, which closes on his neck and chokes him. He coughs and Nigel appears, holding the Statue of Liberty torch that he has carried throughout the film, and hits the wildebeest with it. He then apologizes to the audience, breaking the fourth wall in the process.

Plot :

Lewis (Daniel Hansen and Jordan Fry), is an aspiring young inventor who is an orphan because his mother abandoned him when he was a baby. He has yet to be adopted and fears that he never will be. Convinced that his birth mother will want him, he attempts to invent a memory-scanning machine in the hopes that he can find her. However, Lewis’s roommate Mike Yagoobian (Goob) is beat by his baseball match teams for failing the match, for Goob slept in the important baseball match, for he had to stay all last night because of Lewis whi was inventing memory-scanning machine.

At Lewis’ school science fair, Lewis is approached by a mysterious boy named Wilbur Robinson (Wesley Singerman), who claims to be a “time cop” from the future and that a man wearing a bowler hat has stolen a time machine that Wilbur wishes to recapture. The sinister ‘Bowler Hat Guy’ (Stephen Anderson), sends Doris (Ethan Sandler), his robotic bowler hat with mechanical arms, to sabotage Lewis’ memory-scanner. As Lewis begins demonstrating the use of his machine, it explodes, throwing the science fair into chaos. Lewis runs out, and the Bowler Hat Guy steals his unattended memory scanner. Wilbur tells Lewis to go back to the science fair and fix the machine. To prove suspicious Lewis that he is from the future, Wilbur takes him to a flying time machine to take them to year 2037, thirty years forward.

While giving Lewis a tour of the fantastical world of the future, Lewis realizes he can use the time machine to go back and see his mother. Wilbur insists he go back to fix the memory scanner, and while arguing, they crash the time machine. Wilbur asks Lewis to fix it, and Lewis agrees under the condition that Wilbur take him back to visit his mother afterwards. Wilbur tries to hide Lewis in the garage of his house, but Lewis meets Wilbur’s grandfather, Bud (Steve Anderson). Bud takes Lewis on a tour of the house, during which Lewis meets the rest of the fun-loving and overly-eccentric Robinson family. Wilbur explains that his father, Cornelius, the only member of the Robinson family that Lewis did not meet, invented several of the futuristic inventions earlier seen, coining the motto “Keep moving forward”.

Meanwhile, Bowler Hat Guy and Doris follow Wilbur and Lewis to the future and attempt to kidnap Lewis so he can show them how his memory scanner works. Meanwhile The Robinsons offer to adopt Lewis but change their mind when they discover that he’s from the past. Lewis runs away in misery after finding out Wilbur lied to him about going back to see his mom, and encounters the Bowler Hat Guy, who lures him into his time machine by promising to bring him to his mother.

At an abandoned orphanage, the Bowler Hat Guy reveals himself as an aged and deeply embittered Mike Yagoobian (Goob). He also reveals that Lewis is Cornelius Robinson, making Wilbur his son and the Robinsons his family. He tells Lewis that he is to be blamed for a miserable life of Goob. He later met DOR-15 (Doris), a failed and abandoned invention of Cornelius’. They co-operate to steal the time machine and plotted to use it to capture and plagiarize Lewis’ first famous invention, to ruin Lewis’s career as an inventor.

Goob and Doris prepare to present the stolen invention to a corporation in Lewis’ time. Wilbur and his robot Carl (Harland Williams) save Lewis and escape, but Doris destroys Carl. The scenery around Lewis and Wilbur (still in the future) darkens, and Wilbur vanishes into oblivion as history is being rewritten. Lewis enters the derelict house and discovers the memory-scanner in the garage. Viewing its records, he discovers that after mass-producing the memory-scanner, Goob also mass-produces Doris, whereupon the multitude of robotic hats took control of their wearers, something Goob hadn’t planned. The Robinsons’ utopian future is replaced by a Doris-controlled, smog-darkened industrial empire, with mankind reduced to slaves.

Pursued by an army of DOR-15 hats, Lewis manages to repair the time machine and uses it to go to the precise moment and location whereat Goob signs the contract at InventCo. Lewis causes Doris to disappear into oblivion by promising that he will never invent her. Lewis then shows Goob the bleak future Doris would have created, which is transformed before their eyes back into the Utopian future. After they land near the Robinson house, Wilbur is brought back into existence. Lewis gets Wilbur to offer for the Robinsons to adopt Goob (after he hit Goob with karate), but Goob, ashamed of what he has done, hides and then walks off uncertain of what to do.

Cornelius (Tom Selleck) appears back from his business trip and meets his younger self. Wilbur fulfills his promise to Lewis by visiting the moment at which his mother abandoned him. Lewis nearly interrupts her from leaving the infant “him”, but stops, choosing his Robinson future over a childhood with his mother.

Finally, Lewis returns to his own time and prevents Goob from becoming the Bowler Hat Guy by waking him up in time to catch the ball that wins him the game. Lewis then returns to the science fair and demonstrates his memory scanner on the science fair judge, Dr. Krunkelhorn (Laurie Metcalf), revealing that she is Wilbur’s grandmother, Lucille. Lewis also meets a young Franny. Bud and Lucille adopt Lewis, who name him Cornelius and sets to work building Carl in an observatory bought by Bud and Lucile which one day becomes the Robinson house. Just before Lewis/Cornelius drives off with Bud and Lucille, he turns around and waves at Goob, who is also leaving the orphanage with his own new family. Bud and Lucille move into the house Lewis saw further in time where he continues his inventing, fulfilling his future.

Cars premiered on May 26, 2006 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina, and was released on June 9, 2006, to generally favorable reviews. It was nominated for two Academy Awards, including Best Animated Feature, and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film. It was released on DVD in late 2006 and on Blu-ray Disc in late 2007. Related merchandise, including scale models of several of the cars, broke records for retail sales of merchandise based on a Disney/Pixar film, with an estimated $5 billion in sales.

Plot :

The last race of the Piston Cup stock car racing season ends in a three-way dead heat between retiring veteran Strip “The King” Weathers, perennial runner-up and dirty fighter Chick Hicks, and the self-centered rookie Lightning McQueen. A tiebreaker race is scheduled for one week later at the Los Angeles International Speedway. Lightning is desperate to win the race, as it would allow him to leave the sponsorship of Rust-Eze, a rust treatment for old cars, and allow him to become the sponsored car of the lucrative Dinoco team in The King’s place. Eager to start practice in California as soon as possible, Lightning pushes his big rig, Mack, to travel all night long.

Mack tries to avoid falling asleep, but becomes the victim of a gang of reckless street racers, subsequently causing the sleeping Lightning to roll out of the back of the trailer unnoticed. Waking up in traffic, Lightning speeds off to find Mack, but mistakes a waste disposal tractor-trailer, a Peterbilt 362, for Mack, and becomes lost and ends up in the run-down town of Radiator Springs. A mishap with the local sheriff causes Lightning to inadvertently tear up the town’s main road. Lightning is promptly arrested, then tried the next day by the town’s judge and doctor, Doc Hudson, who at first wants him to leave Radiator Springs immediately; but at the insistence of local lawyer Sally Carrera, Doc instead sentences him to repave the road as community service.

McQueen initially tries to rush through the job, but makes a sloppy, bumpy mess of the road and is forced to start over again. As the days pass, he becomes friends with many of the townsfolk, and learns that Radiator Springs was once a popular stopover along U.S. Route 66. However, with the construction of a nearby interstate that allowed people to bypass the town, Radiator Springs was effectively erased from the map, causing many of the businesses and residents to leave. McQueen also discovers that Doc is actually the Fabulous Hudson Hornet, a three-time Piston Cup champion who was forced out of competition after a serious accident ended his career over 50 years ago, but remains adept at racing.

Encouraged by his new friends and a countryside cruise with Sally, McQueen successfully completes the road and spends an extra day in town, visiting the local shops to outfit him with new tires and equipment. That night, Mack and the media converge on the town, having been tipped off by Doc as to Lightning’s whereabouts, and Lightning reluctantly sets off for California. Sally is upset with Doc for thinking only of himself, and the other townsfolk are saddened to see McQueen go. As they retire to their homes, the town’s neon is turned off, and as the town returns to its previous quietness, Doc realizes just how much McQueen meant to them.

As the tie-breaker race begins, McQueen’s thoughts keep drifting back to Radiator Springs and he is distracted from performing well. However, he is surprised to discover that his new friends have come along to serve as his pit crew, with Doc – once again outfitted in his old racing colors – as his crew chief. Heartened by their presence, McQueen is able to counteract Chick Hicks’ dirty driving tactics and take the lead of the race. On the final lap, Chick, fed up with being seen as the perennial loser, purposely rams The King, causing him to veer off the track and crash in a horrifying roll-over wreck.

McQueen sees the King crash, and stops just short of the finish line, which lets Chick win the Piston Cup. Remembering Doc’s bleary departure from racing, McQueen reverses to help push The King the rest of the way across the finish line, allowing him to complete his last race and retire with dignity. Chick’s win is rejected and he is booed off the awards ceremony stage, his Piston Cup victory rendered hollow and meaningless. The King and his wife, Dinoco, the press, and the crowd praise McQueen for his sportsmanship. McQueen is offered the Dinoco sponsorship but turns it down, saying that he would rather stay with the team that brought him this far. McQueen returns to Radiator Springs and decides to move his team’s headquarters there, helping to revitalize the town and its businesses, much to the pleasure of his new friends. Himself, Mack and his old pit crew become new members of Radiator Springs.

Plot :

The movie opens with the evening star shining above New Orleans. Young Tiana (voiced by Elizabeth Dampier) and Charlotte La Bouff (voiced by Breanna Brooks) are listening to the story of “The Frog Prince” as told by Tiana’s mother Eudora (voiced by Oprah Winfrey). Charlotte is thrilled with the idea of finding a prince, while Tiana vows she will never need to. Instead she shares a dream with her father James (voiced by Terrence Howard): to open a restaurant of their own. Years pass and Tiana (voiced by Anika Noni Rose) is now working as a waitress, skimping and saving, and seems to have let go of having fun in favor of her dream, as her father has now passed on. She finally makes the money and shows the plans for her restaurant to her mother, who insists that she needs to look at other parts of life and that even though her father never got what he wanted, he had what he needed: love. Meanwhile, Prince Naveen (voiced by Bruno Campos) arrives in the city with his butler Lawrence (voiced by Peter Bartlett). The prince has been cut off by his parents for his play-boy lifestyle and either has to marry or get a job to support himself. He plans to wed Charlotte (voiced by Jennifer Cody) to gain her fortune. The two soon meet up with Doctor Facilier (voiced by Keith David), a voodoo magician jealous of the La Bouff fortune, who turns Naveen into a frog and gets Lawrence to join him in his plot to rule New Orleans.

At the La Bouff grand ball, Tiana learns that another client put down a higher offer on the building she wanted for her restaurant, and is now left with nothing unless she can top him by Wednesday. Having given up hope, she desperately wishes on a star, when frog Naveen appears. Thinking her a princess, he convinces her to kiss him in order to break the curse, but the spell backfires and she becomes a frog as well. The two are chased out as Lawrence uses a voodoo charm to impersonate the prince and win the heart of Charlotte. It requires Naveen’s blood however, so Facilier sends out his voodoo spirits to retrieve the prince, who has escaped to the bayou with Tiana. He plans to get Charlotte’s money, kill her father Big Daddy La Bouff, and take over New Orleans, feeding the souls of the citizens to his voodoo friends.

In the bayou, Tiana and Naveen encounter Louis (voiced by Michael-Leon Wooley), an alligator who wants to be a jazz musician, and Ray (voiced by Jim Cummings), a Cajun firefly who is in love with a star he has named Evangeline. They take them to see Mama Odie, the good voodoo priestess of the swamp. Along the way, Naveen falls in love with Tiana. They eventually reach Mama Odie (voiced by Jenifer Lewis), who insists they need to dig deeper to get what they want. Naveen realizes this means being with Tiana. Mama Odie reveals that for the two to become human, Naveen must kiss Charlotte, who is the Mardi Gras Princess. Naveen plans on proposing to Tiana, but she shows more interest in her dream than in him and he thinks she doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. He decides to marry Charlotte and give Tiana her money so Tiana can open her restaurant. However, he is kidnapped by the voodoo spirits. Meanwhile, Ray reveals to Tiana that Naveen truly loves her. Tiana rushes to the Mardi Gras parade to find Lawrence marrying Charlotte in the Naveen disguise, having re-fueled the voodoo charm. Brokenhearted, she runs to the graveyard and tells Ray that Evangeline is just a star and he will never actually meet her. Ray rushes off and manages to free the real Prince Naveen and steal the charm, causing Lawrence to resume his true form and become arrested. He gives it to Tiana just before Facilier crushes him. Facilier offers Tiana her restaurant, as well as her human form back, but Tiana realizes that love and following her heart is more important than taking the easy way, like her father had said. She shatters Facilier’s charm, releasing the voodoo spirits from within who proceed to drag a screaming Facilier into their world for failing them.

Back at the Mardi Gras parade, Naveen offers Charlotte marriage, but Tiana confesses she’d rather have him as a frog than have her restaurant because she is in love with him. Charlotte offers to kiss him so he can marry Tiana, but it is too late. Mardi Gras is over and Charlotte is no longer a princess. Louis finds a mortally wounded Ray and rushes him to the pair. He gets to see them together and happy before he dies. At Ray’s funeral, they look up and see that another star has appeared next to Evangeline. Naveen and Tiana are married in the bayou by Mama Odie. Their kiss turns them back into humans because Tiana is now a princess married to royalty. The two go back home and get back the building by having Louis threaten the real estate agents. They work together and open Tiana’s restaurant, where Louis plays trumpet in his band. The movie ends with them kissing as the evening stars, Ray and Evangeline, twinkle from above.

The 3-D film was produced through the process of performance capture, a technique Zemeckis has previously used in his films The Polar Express (2004) and Beowulf (2007).

Plot :

On Christmas Eve in Victorian England, Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter and miserly old moneylender, holds everything that embodies the joys and spirit of Christmas in contempt, refusing to visit his cheerful nephew Fred’s Christmas dinner party with his family, and forcing his underpaid employee Bob Cratchit to beg to take the day off for his own family. That night, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who had died seven years prior on Christmas Eve and is now forced to spend his afterlife carrying heavy chains forged from his own greedy ways. Marley warns Scrooge that he will suffer an even worse fate if he doesn’t repent, and foretells that he will be haunted by three spirits that will help guide him.

The first spirit, the Ghost of Christmas Past, shows Scrooge visions of his own past that take place on or around the Christmas season, reminding him of how he ended up the greedy man he is now. He had spent much of his childhood neglected by his father over the holidays at boarding school until he was finally brought home by his loving sister Fan, who died prematurely after giving birth to his nephew Fred. Scrooge later began a successful career in business and moneylending and became engaged to a woman named Belle, though she later called off the engagement when he began to grow obsessed with accumulating his own wealth. Unable to bear having to witness these events again, Scrooge extinguishes the spirit.

The second spirit, the Ghost of Christmas Present, shows Scrooge the happiness of his fellow men on Christmas day. Among them are his nephew Fred, who playfully makes jokes with his family at Scrooge’s expense, and Bob Cratchit and his family, who are just barely able to make do with what little pay Scrooge gives Cratchit. The Cratchits also tend to a sickly young son, Tiny Tim, whose commitment to the spirit of Christmas touches Scrooge, who is dismayed to learn from the spirit that he may not have much longer to live. Before the spirit vanishes, it warns Scrooge about the evils of Ignorance and Want, showing them as terrifying, uncivilized children doomed to grow into savage, despicable individuals.

The third and final spirit, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, shows Scrooge the final consequences of his greed. Tiny Tim has died, leaving the Cratchits to mourn him on Christmas. Scrooge has also died, though there is more comfort than grief in the wake of his funeral. In addition, Fred finds benefit from inheriting his wealth, and Scrooge is even robbed by his former maid. Unwilling to let this grim future come to pass, Scrooge begs to be given a second chance as the spirit forces him into his deep and empty grave leading all the way to Hell.

Scrooge awakens to find himself in his bed on Christmas morning, the three spirits having guided him over the course of one night, and immediately sets out to atone for his sins, making donations to the poor, attending Fred’s dinner party, and giving Cratchit a raise to care for his family, allowing Tiny Tim to live. Scrooge spends the remainder of his life a new man embodying the spirit of Christmas itself.

o Jacob Marley, a former business partner of Ebenezer Scrooge. Having been dead for seven years prior to the events of the film, he visits Scrooge as a ghost and warns him of the three spirits that will confront him about his demeanor.
o Bob Cratchit, the abused, underpaid clerk of Ebenezer Scrooge.
o Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit’s youngest son. He is voiced over by Ryan Ochoa.
